Smith Above all powers, above all kings Above all nature and all created things Above all wisdom, and all the ways of man You were here, before the world began Above all kingdoms, above all thrones Above all wonders the world has ever known Above all wealth, and treasures of the earth There's no way to measure what You're worth Crucified, laid behind a stone You lived to die, rejected and alone Like a rose, trampled on the ground You took the fall and thought of me Above all           'Above All' is one of my favorite songs.  When I think I have the power to control my life, God proves even more powerful to make me give up control, turning back to Him saying, "Forgive me Lord, please direct me."  Whenever I feel sad and complain that no one understands how I feel, God shows me that He is always with me.  Through the smell of the flowers, the warmth from the sun, and even the sound of the rain, God speaks to me through his marvelous creation.  Again I say, "Forgive me Lord, because once again I am so focused on myself that I neglect to remember that You are with me every second of the day."  I am learning to give God all of my worries because He is the only one who knows all of my troubles, and He cares for me like none other, because He is my creator.           No matter how unfaithful I am, God helps me to remember His faithfulness.  One of the ways He has done this is by sending His one and only Son – Jesus Christ to die on the cross for me.  Since Christ suffered and took the punishment for me, now I can have a second chance and live forever. I'm so glad to have the Lord in my life.  If not for His great sacrifice, I would have to bear the full brunt of my sins once I died.  I often pray and saying, "Thank you for showing your love by the blood of your Son.  Now my sins are forgiven and I cannot wait to see You in heaven.  Thank you Jesus!' Romans 5:7-8 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.  But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
